Leather bands / bracelets are more prone to discoloration and deterioration due to moisture, sweat, and direct sunlight than metal bands / bracelets.
Leather straps may tear or fade in color. Constant care is essential, including the conditions under which the watch is worn. Even if the watch is water-resistant, do not wear a watch with a leather band while bathing, swimming, or working with water.
In addition, stains will be more obvious if you wear a watch with a light-colored band.

Cleaning method: Wipe away moisture and sweat as soon as possible with a soft dry towel after removing it from the wrist, and place it in a well-ventilated environment. Do not leave your watch in direct sunlight for extended periods of time (for example, on a car dashboard), since this may cause discoloration/transformation/breakage of the leather strap. Some bands have a rear (or sometimes the entire strap) composed of synthetic leather, which is more sweat resistant than a genuine leather band. Nonetheless, regular band care is required in any circumstance.
Urethane band: A urethane band is vulnerable to minor discoloration and may disintegrate when exposed to solvents or humidity in the environment. If bands remain wet and in very humid environments for an extended period of time, or if they are exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time, the pace of deterioration may increase and some cracks may emerge on the band surface. Furthermore, a translucent, white, or pale colored band absorbs other colors easily, resulting in color streaks or degradation.
Polyurethane bands, which are frequently worn for maritime sports or outdoor activities, should be maintained with care.

Method of cleaning: Wash any dirt away with water and thoroughly dry with a dry cloth (protect the watch head from water splashes by wrapping it in plastic wrap etc.).* If the band loses its elasticity, please replace it with a new one. If you continue to use the band in its current condition, it may split or become brittle over time.
